Re-development of our outdoor area.
When we began the idea of re-developing our outside space the children had some very definate ideas of what we should include....a hill, mudpit, vegetable garden, animal area for our rabbits, guinea pigs and tree hut. How exciting the project has begun!Look at the start of our hill and mud pit curtesy of Brody's and Ben's dads who delivered several truckloads of soil. The tree hut is also underway thanks to Stewart Builders who worked hard in all the rain at the weekend.
A big thank-you to everyone who has helped with this project so far. We are still trying to source large rocks and driftwood for our development.

Oh to be young again!
Mud is wonderful! The children really enjoy the experience of playing in mud...especially when they know
they are safe from getting into trouble! We take the stress out of it by ensuring children have access to wet weather gear...as you can see Claudia and her friends are making the most of it...gorgeous!

Paint it red...world cup fever continues.
Here we all are being silly again...today it was about wearing red to support Tonga and Canada who face each other in the rugby world cup tonight in Whangarei. The children had a blast...and what a fun and easy way to learn about the colour red!Next Wednesday will be just as much fun...wear red and white to support Tonga and Japan...can't wait!
