Rain, Hail or shine!

Our children are thoroughly enjoying the new wet weather gear.

Even though today was a bitterly cold day, the children were able to sneak out in the rain and between rain showers to play briefly in the sandpit.

They all rugged up warm in their leggings and jackets. It was perfect to stop the whistling wind and wet rain.

Although it wasnt long before they headed back inside.....it was makariri!!

My hair looked stunning today after Ruby-Leigh and Walter "did their thing." I was even entertained as Walter danced around the picnic table with an elastic band on the end of his nose singing a song for me.

I think Walter looked pretty cool too after I gave him a pink mohawk.

Mud, mud, glorious mud!

Wow Claudia, what fun you had today making sloppy mud and then jumping in it!

You found a hole in the mud pile that had been made yesterday and poured copious amounts of water into the mud until it was saturated. This made a great pool to jump in until you did one really huge jump and covered not only your waterproof pants but your jacket and face too and then needed to come inside and clean your face and hair!
