Bream Bay Kindergarten Video

Out of the mouths of babes...

Teaching can be a demanding and challenging job, but it's the little things that make it all worth while.  Here is a page dedicated to the little things that children say that tickle our funny bone!

*At the hair dressing table, D was combing the teachers hair.  D sneezed and said to the teacher "opps, now your hairs all wet!"  (NICE!  lol.)

*To a teacher N said "do you wanna come play at my house...my mum can pick you up."  (oh bless!)

*H moved into new house and said to the teacher "come to my house, bring your sleeping bag" (gorgeous)

*Horrified, B exclaimed to teacher " J said a cowshed word!"  (can you guess the word!)

*We'd spent the morning talking about the rules, trying our best to put things in simple language that the children would understand.  J noticed a child breaking the rules and reported to the teacher in a very elegant and refined voice saying"that's inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour isn't it."

*A group of children were asked the question...What's the best thing about living in New Zealand?
L replied with love in his eyes  "the road works!" (as grown ups, when do we lose that sense of appreciation for road works?)

*Two ipads side by side...the teacher on one and the child on the other doing the same thing while exploring google earth.  The child follows the instructions on how to get to Paris via google earth.  All is going well when suddenly the child exclaims "hang on, hang on, I'm in a different world!"
