Matariki Celebration week

Matariki Celebrations are starting this week.  To celebrate and end the week we will be putting on a breakfast for all families.  Doors will open at 8.15am and karakia to begin at 8.30am with breakfast served after this.  All families and whanau welcome to join us and celebrate Matariki this Friday 4th July 2014.  If your Child does not attend on Friday's you are still welcome to attend, but you will need to stay with your child.

We will be putting on some other activities during the week of Matariki.  We would appreciate any suggestions or helpers during this week.

Mr McGee and the Biting Flea

Today we had the very exciting pleasure of catching a bus to whangarei to see the new Capital E show "Mr McGee and the biting flea".

There was lots of excitment around our trip and the children all did fantastically well.

Think Tank meeting

Kia Ora,
We are excited to remind you all that tonight we have a Think Tank meeting for all our whanau...and we made cake!!

The children have made oaty caramel slice with love this morning for all our meeting guests tonight.

7pm at kindergarten tonight

...we look forward to seeing you then.

Oh and we had to taste test the caramel slice...

Today was so wet and miserable we decided pumpkin soup and scones would brighten it up for us. 

Mmmmmmm it smelt delicious...
