Links with our community
We were lucky enough to have a visit from the Bream Bay College Hapa Kaka group.
The tamariki were eager and excited to see the Hapa Kaka group perform. We practised our waiata 'Te Aroha' and 'Tutira mai' which the tamariki performed fabulously.
The tamariki were blown away by the performance from the Kapa Haka group and sat mesmerised. What a stunning performance! There were gorgeous harmonies from the girls and strong warrior dancing from the boys.
Did the tamariki tell you all about it when they got home?

One Tree Point School
Thank you to Pam Weir (new entrant teacher) and Adrian Smith (Principal) of One Tree Point School for their visit to kindergarten today. It was chaos as usual on a rainy day...however we know they appreciate the learning going on when children are immersed in play and fun.
We value these visits between kindergarten and school as they offer opportunities to collaborate, share teaching and learning ideas and strengthen links and transitions to school. It's fantastic to have positive relationships with our local schools!

Learning Te Reo
Kia ora tatou,
We've had a lot of interest from parents keen to learn Te Reo Maori...fabulous! To start us off here are the vowel sounds and alphabet to help you practice your pronounciation of te reo Maori. If you have any questions...just ask us, we're more than happy to help.
